Experts believe that early infants- education and development is vital as the first years of children are a prime time for them to learn new things such as numbers, alphabets, colours, shapes, objects and more. Experts also believe that early childhood education and development from newborn until 3 years old is the perfect ages to stimulate and help your children to develop through fun learning and experiences.
For new parents, it is understandable if you want to know more about how to stimulate the development of the baby since newborn so that the baby can grow healthy and become a clever child later on. Babysitting for the first 1 month will be easier when we know the development that the baby is experiencing.
The Ministry of Education Malaysia will provide a learning system framework for newborns to 3 years of age, to ensure they receive the appropriate education as pre-school supplies. The previous Education Minister, Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid, presented his speech entitled ‘Early Childhood Development’ at The Education World Forum 2017 in London and he said the framework was important to ensure the continuity of early childhood education and development was not cut off from infancy to primary school.
In addition to that, he said the ministry would further discuss with the Women, Family and Community Development Ministry on the early childhood education and development plan at that age. “In the United Kingdom (UK), the country has a clear framework for early childhood education from newborn to age 3. “We want to set up a foundation to build this child. The main focus to ensure that the entry of preschools reaches 100% showing results following a big surge and our kindergarten level is already focused on what the pupils need to achieve, meanwhile those who are 0 to 3 years old we have not really give a thoughtful plan and there is no curriculum for this age,” he told the Malaysian journalists.
